The tank farm, result of a Joint Venture between Coremar Group (Colombia) and Zenith Energy (United States), is located on a 420 acres Industrial Cluster, in Palermo Municipality, Departamento del Magdalena, in front of Barranquilla, right next to Palermo Port Society, a large scale public use multipurpose terminal.

JUAN PABLO OSPINA

CEO

With more than 22 years of experience, he began his career in distribution, marketing, transportation, logistics, and regulation within the hydrocarbons and biofuels sector. Juan Pablo started his professional career at ExxonMobil, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including the management of several business areas. In 2009, he joined the Ecopetrol Group, eventually becoming Commercial Manager of Refined Products for Colombia. In 2012, he moved to Cenit Transporte y Logística de Hidrocarburos, an Ecopetrol subsidiary, where he served as Commercial Director. In May 2015, he assumed the position of Vice President of Commercial and Marketing at Ecopetrol, with responsibility for the sales and purchases of crude oil, gas, fuels, and petrochemicals at both national and international levels. In October 2016, he took on commercial and strategic leadership for an integrated company within the hydrocarbons and gas marketing and logistics value chain.

He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Pontifical Bolivarian University in Medellín and has served as a member of several Boards of Directors.

Andres Salazar

Terminal manager

Andrés Salazar joined Palermo Tanks in September 2016 as Terminal Manager. Responsible for the operation of the liquids terminal under the best standards of Health, Safety, environment and quality, also focused in keeping the best practices in maintenance and inventory control to guarantee the reliability of the Terminal and the customers satisfaction. Andres also supports the commercial and Projects team in the development and execution of new expansion projects in Palermo Tanks.

Andres worked for 12 year in Organización Terpel S.A, his last position was as Director of Operations for the Central and South zones, this included 8 fuel distribution facilities located in 8 Colombian states. His first years in Terpel also involved positions in the maintenance and projects department participating in the development and modernization of fuel storage Plants. Andrés started his career working for 3 years in the Engineering Department in Centro Nacional de Investigaciones de Café.

Andres is an Electronic Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, holds a post graduate degree as Finance Specialist from Universidad del Rosario, Integrated Auditor ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 from Bureau Veritas, Training Certificate in Health, Safety and Environment from Consejo Colombiano de Seguridad, Training Certificate in Logistics from Universidad Externado and Training Certificate in Operational Excellence from Universidad de Los Andes.

Roberto Pretelt Caceres

Commercial manager

Roberto Pretelt joined Palermo Tanks in July 2016 as Commercial Manager. His primary focus is in business development, origination and customer service with special emphasis in developing the marketing base to expand Palermo´s storage capacity. For your liquid storage needs in Barranquilla, Roberto is the guy to talk to.

Prior to joining Palermo Tanks, Roberto worked 5 years as commercial director for Independence Water and Mining and held various commercial positions over a span of 10 years in the flower business in Colombia.

Roberto holds a Certificate of Special Studies in Negotiation and communication, a post graduate degree in Commercial management from Universidad de la Sabana, and an Industrial Engineer degree from Universidad de Los Andes.
